Brady, on behalf of Carpenter Place, wanted you to know how much of a blessing the church in Wellington is to that ministry.
In our next chapter in Acts, we’ll see how our church models the first century church by unselfishly providing for the needs of others. Acts 2:45 says,
45 and they…were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need.
The earliest followers of Christ helped one another however they could. In the same way, we’re carrying on today what they began when we share with others in need.
I think it’s a wonderful thing to help all sorts of people, after all the Apostle Paul taught us in Galatians 6:10,
10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people…
But that’s not the whole verse, he continues,
10…and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
I’m glad to be a part of a body of believers that does good to all people and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
Let’s continue to gather items for Westview Boys Home who will come to gather their supplies in early October.
