I’ve been working on a new, temporary series, to fit in between Acts 13, which we just finished, and Acts 14, which we’ll begin in a few weeks.
What I aim to do with the series is to answer several questions, and do away with misguided ideas, about death, the final judgment and the afterlife.
I realize that it’s not a popular topic, but it’s one that we cannot avoid personally, and one that we should not neglect, spiritually.
It’s also beneficial to know what the Bible says about the topics of the afterlife so that we can offer real hope and realistic expectations for ourselves and for others when questions are raised.
Finally, it’s a time-sensitive topic. With the great frequency of funerals and memorial services that take place all around us, we have to understand that our time, whether it be by the return of Jesus or by the last breath that we draw, is coming.
I want to be ready and I want you to be ready. Being ready for our end changes, for the better, how we live our lives today.
